This website is intended to be a one stop calendar for those seeking to play chess in Alaska. This website is run by the Alaska Arctic Chess Club, but includes tournaments and chess club meetings from any chess club within the state.

While we have a particular interest in rated chess through the United States Chess Federation, we are open to posting tournaments that are unrated, or rated by other entities, such as FIDE and others, provided that these events take place in Alaska, or if they are online events, that they are particular to Alaskans.
